Mat Cutter for cutting 90 degree inside corners for making Board game boxes. I have been getting in to Print n Play and found there isn't a good tool for this purpose. Some use proprietary blades which dull quickly (blade life is measured in inches when used for box making). Even the $53 Logan 5000 is not the Ideal tool. Use matcutter 1 to make a light cut and matcutter 2 to finalize the cut. Technically you can use matcutter 2 skipping the 1st one but it is much harder to pull through the cut and I have spun my work attempting this. The center of the cut is 45 mm from either edge of the cutter assuming a perfect print. It's centered so measure your pieces after printing and adjust as necessary. You will need 4x 4-40 heat set inserts. I used 93365A122 from McMaster. You will also need 4 short 4-40 bolts. I think mine are 0.25" long. This is made to work with standard single edge rectangular razor blades measuring 0.75" x 1.5" Pictured is double thick chip board (0.080" thick)
