MastGate for MacGregor sailboats
thingiverse
The MastGate is designed for classic MacGregor sailboats to be installed in masts with spread opening after mainsail (equipped with sail slugs/slides) has been hoisted. When mainsail is lowered for flaking or reefing, the slugs would pass through the MastGate, allowing lowering mainsail all the way to the boom. Also, unlike sail stops, the MastGate isn’t pressed down by the weight of the sail and as so, not at risk of being knocked out from the mast channel. Please review the attached PDF file for more details.
