Personal project revamp: Link's iconic Mastersword from The Legend of Zelda saga gets a gritty makeover inspired by the rusted variant in Breath of the Wild. Forged with creativity, I chose Maya as my primary tool for initial modeling, retopology, and UV layout. Next, I fine-tuned every detail using Zbrush's powerful sculpting capabilities. Bringing the sword to life involved painting, material creation, and texturing within Substance, while Marmoset Toolbag took center stage for stunning renders.
