This design is tailored for a 1kg masterspool. If you're looking for something more compact, check out my other design [here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3065604), which accommodates a 0.75kg spool. The standard masterspool leaves an excessive gap between the filament and the spool's edges. While this might allow zip ties to fit snugly, it often causes tangles and printing failures due to filament entanglement. To prevent these issues, I suggest installing the spacer first, then loading the filament onto the spool as you normally would. Once in place, remove the ties and securely tighten both halves of the spool together.
