Masterspool for Filastruder spools
thingiverse
I have some Filastruder masterspools that had a wider inner diameter than the original masterspool. I lengthened the inner diameter and added angles to the inner spool arms to support the arms from breaking. This is so that those who want to print with NO INFILL can do so and not have the inner arms break. After loading the masterspool I noticed that Filastruder rolls are somewhat loose even though they are zip tied and when I attached the spool of filament, it began to unravel. The dimensions I used still worked out because I am trying to figure out ways to enclose the filament without printing a complete spool enclosure or cutting into a plastic tub (minimalist remember). So I was able to cut two carboard sides out and they fit snugly with the filament. This proved perfect enough to keep the filament taught and no longer loose on the spool.
