This revised model maintains the correct size according to the lore, but with a more manageable length. ###Updates * New blade length: 34" * Space added in Blade parts 1 & 2 to facilitate the installation of neodymium magnets, allowing the blade to break down for transport; * Round cores used, providing better lateral stability. ###Requirements To construct this blade, you will need specific cores. For "transportable" mode, you will require: * Four 2.5mm x 500mm carbon rods (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5pcs-2-5mm-500mm-Carbon-Fiber-Rods-for-Sand-Table-RC-Airplane-with-high-strength/172330492272) * Two 6mm x 500mm steel rods (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mild-Steel-Black-Round-Bar-diameters-6mm-to-30mm-girth-cut-500mm-to-1500mm-long/321724041166) * Eight 5mm cube neodymium magnets (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10-Strong-Magnets-5mm-Cube-Neodymium-1-1Kg-Pull-Rare-Earth-Block-Magnetic/382341601603) If you don't need the transportable feature, a single 6mm x 1m steel core can be used. ###Building the Transportable Model To utilize the magnets, ensure STEEL BLADE 1 is printed with its base facing downwards (blade towards the ground) and STEEL BLADE 2 with its base facing upwards (blade facing up). After three layers (at 0.2mm), pause the print on both parts at 6mm, insert the magnets into the hole (ensuring correct polarity directions), and then resume printing.
