Mastercrafted Wolven Steel Sword - The Witcher

Every aspiring Witcher needs a reliable pair of twin swords, and here we have the Mastercrafted Wolven Steel sword from the Witcher 3. (Silver is also available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2767062) Being scaled to the lore and game files, the hilt measures 12 inches long, while the blade extends a further 40.5 inches in length. Two holes run down the blade, designed to house two 2mm x 1m long carbon fibre cores that keep everything securely in place. These cores are positioned to poke slightly out of the blade and into the hilt for more precise centering. A second hole also runs along the length of the hilt and into the blade, containing a 1/8" x 3/8" steel core. The grip is designed so that you can wrap a 3mm thick leather cord around it, giving a true look to the game designs. The runes read "One made of steel" / "for humans" as a callback to an in-game quote. They also feature "Valentine Costumes" - my cosplay brand. Due to common transportation issues with large blades like this one, it's designed to come apart where the blade and hilt meet. If you attach the hilt to the metal core, you can then drill a 5mm hole in the core at the point where a hole features in the top of the blade (Blade_7 file).
