MasterCase 5 VR Front Panel Extension

I have a VR machine in my living room that's dedicated to the task, and it's awesome when I've got friends or family over so we can all play around the couch together. Although I still have plenty of cable length, I'm constantly worried about putting stress on a port of the video card or motherboard USB port by having to run it all the way in the back of the computer to the front. One day while looking at my case, I had an idea that made sense. I could take a panel where a CD drive would go and make an extension from the back of the case, through the inside of the case, and have a dedicated port right up front. I ordered this from Amazon and made a mock 3D printed bracket. After three hours and some sanding, I got it looking great. It's a pretty snug fit, but it holds tight. If it comes loose, I'm going to apply some glue for extra security. Overall, this setup allows me to walk an extra 3-4 feet without any issues. I also used a DP to HDMI converter right at the end of the cable.
