MasterCase 5 Toolless Drive Caddy

MasterCase 5 Toolless Drive Caddy

thingiverse

This is a reverse-engineered model of the tool-less drive caddy for a Cooler Master MasterCase 5 drive bays, designed specifically for individuals who want to print their own version in any color they prefer, not just black. It serves as a direct replacement for the slide mechanism of the drive bays and should fit without requiring any modifications. To assemble it, you will need to reuse the four pins originally supplied with the MasterCase 5 or 5 Pro drive caddy. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: You may also print this in PLA, but I would recommend using PET (T) or G) or Nylon for a more durable result. Most cases do not generate enough heat internally to necessitate the use of exotic filaments like ABS. The design of the top edge features a fillet on its underside, making it easier to print without supports due to the recesses on the sides of the rails. How I Designed This I reverse-engineered an existing part from my personal MasterCase 5 Pro. It was built with ease in mind for FDM-style printers, allowing you to print this drive caddy without needing any support structures.
