MasterCase 5 Toolless Drive Caddy

MasterCase 5 Toolless Drive Caddy

Summary This is a reverse-engineered model of the tool-less drive caddy for Cooler Master MasterCase 5 drive bays, designed for people who want to print their own in some color other than black. It serves as a direct replacement for the slide mechanism of the drive bays and should fit without modification. To assemble it, you will need to reuse the four pins from the original drive caddy supplied with the MasterCase 5 or 5 Pro. Print Settings Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer Model: R1 ABS + PLA Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: You can probably print this in PLA, but I would likely choose PET (T or G) or Nylon for better results. Most cases do not get hot enough internally to require ABS or other exotic filaments. Since I haven't printed this myself yet, I cannot provide additional feedback. Design Details Reverse engineered from an existing part on my personal MasterCase 5 Pro, this model is built with ease of printing in mind, featuring a fillet at the underside of the top edge to facilitate consumer printing without supports.
