MasterCase 5 Drive Bay Slide Lock Insert

Summary This model is a reverse engineered version of the slide lock for a Cooler Master MasterCase 5 optical drive bay. It's designed for those who want to print their own in a color other than black, and it serves as a direct replacement for the inner slide mechanism of the optical drive bays. The design fits within the original outer shell. Print Settings Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: You can probably print this in PLA, but I would likely choose PET (T or G) or Nylon for a more durable result. Most cases don't get hot enough internally to require ABS or other specialized filaments. I've personally printed this model and it fits perfectly. The settings I used were 0.25 mm layers, 2 perimeters, 2 bottom layers, 3 top layers, and 20% infill with PETG. How I Designed This I reverse engineered an existing part from my personal MasterCase 5 Pro. The design consists of two parts to ensure it can be printed on an FDM style printer without the need for supports. Custom Section Matching Outer Shell http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1522047
