Masterbuilt Gas Smoker Controller

Masterbuilt Gas Smoker Controller

thingiverse

This controller regulates gas flow to a Masterbuilt smoker by manipulating a valve. A series of "fingers" grasp the gas valve while a servo adjusts its position. An Arduino unit reads temperature from a thermocouple, making adjustments as needed. Users set temperatures and fine-tune PID control parameters via a rotary encoder. Displayed on an LCD screen are current settings, actual temperature readings, servo positioning, and battery levels. The servo moves along metal rods parallel to the motor's axis, allowing for smooth valve operation. The housing is attached to a base that securely mounts onto the control valve assembly.
