Masterbox Q300L HDD bracket
myminifactory
I designed this bracket specifically for a Cooler Master Masterbox Q300L, providing an additional mounting point for a second 3.5-inch hard drive. Originally, the case only accommodated one 3.5-inch HDD, so I created a bracket to fit in front of the power supply unit (PSU) and utilized the existing 120mm fan hole mount for secure assembly. For installation, you can use the 2.5-inch HDD screws provided with the Masterbox Q300L case. If needed, other screws can be used, but ensure they match the correct size, length, and thread pitch to avoid any issues. When attaching the bracket to the case, fan screws are recommended for a secure hold. The design files were created in Solidworks, and I've included various formats (STP, IGS, 3MF, STL, and SW) for modification purposes. A PDF drawing is also provided for printing out at a 1:1 scale, allowing you to use it as a paper template. Feel free to modify or redesign the bracket for personal use; however, sharing any derivatives or taking credit without my consultation or approval is strictly prohibited. Following the first print, I made some adjustments on January 12, 2019. To ensure smoother installation of the 3.5-inch HDD, the mounting holes were modified to provide a 6.4mm to 8.4mm height increase, creating approximately 2mm of clearance between the HDD and the bracket. Additionally, a cutout was added for better cable management around the HDD power plug and SATA connector, providing more space for wiring.
