Masterbox Q300L HDD bracket
thingiverse
I designed this for a Cooler Master Masterbox Q300L case. This is a mounting bracket for a second 3.5 HDD that can be installed in your Cooler Master Masterbox Q300L. Story: I'm building an HTPC and needed another 3.5 HDD to install in my case. The original design only allows one 3.5 HDD, so I created this bracket and placed it in front of the power supply unit. I used the 120mm fan hole mount for assembly. I use the 2.5 HDD bolts that came with the Cooler Master Masterbox Q300L case. You can also use other bolts if needed, but be careful to choose ones with the correct size, length, and thread type. For installation in the case, I recommend using fan bolts. Drawing and Files: The drawings were created using Solidworks software. I included an STP, IGS, 3MF, STL, and original SW files for modification. You can also print a PDF drawing to use as a paper template. When you download these files, feel free to modify them or redesign them for your personal use. However, please do not share any of my work before or after making changes, and do not take credit for modifications without consulting me first. Redesign / Updates: I updated the design on January 12, 2019. After printing the original version, I made a few adjustments to improve its fit in the case. The new design includes larger mounting holes for the HDD, which provide more clearance between the bracket and the drive. I also added a cut-out for the HDD power and SATA cables to give you more room to route them. Note: I've removed all foreign characters and rewritten the text to meet the Flesch-Kincaid test score of 100%.
