Master Sword Sheath

This is the sheath that goes perfectly with the Master Sword I designed here: https://cults3d.com/en/game/master-sword-full-size-legend-of-zelda I crafted this sheath in Fusion 360 alongside the sword. I printed it on my Robo 3D R1 using Hatchbox White PLA. The settings I used for this are detailed below. The entire process took around 14 hours to complete. Print Settings: Layer Height: 0.3mm Infill: 20% Supports: None Raft: No Post-Processing: Step 1: Print and Assemble. Print all the parts out and use the provided keys to position everything correctly in place. Step 2: Bond. Use Super Glue to bond all of the parts together securely, allowing them to set up completely before moving forward. We allowed ours to sit for several days. Step 3: Conceal the seams. We utilized Loctite repair putty and applied it directly to the seams in order to cover them up effectively. Step 4: Sanding. Smooth out any rough spots and ensure that the repair putty is sanded down flush with the rest of the sheath. Step 5: Prime. Apply multiple coats of plastic primer, allowing each coat to dry completely before applying the next one. Step 6: Paint the blue sections. We used an airbrush for this purpose, but any painting technique can be utilized. Step 7: Paint the gold. Again, any technique can be employed, but we opted for a small painting sponge to give it a unique texture and facilitate easy coverage on these large areas. Simply dip the sponge in paint and dab it all over the areas you want to paint. Step 8: Apply a protective finishing coat to safeguard the paint from damage.
