Here is the rewritten text: If you want more information and to see this project up close, watch this video: https://youtu.be/Za5byBQs0I4 This sheath was created to match the Master Sword that I designed here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1449187 I used Fusion 360 to design both the sword and the sheath, then printed them on my Robo 3D R1 using Hatchbox White PLA. The settings listed below were used for this project. It took approximately 14 hours to print everything. Print Settings: Layer Height: 0.3mm Infill: 20% Supports: No Raft: No Post-Processing Steps: Step 1: Assemble and Print the Pieces. Print all the individual parts and use the keys provided to position them correctly. Step 2: Apply Adhesive. Use Super Glue to attach all of the pieces together, allowing the glue to set completely before proceeding. Step 3: Conceal Seams. We used Loctite repair putty to cover up any visible seams by applying it directly to the areas in question. Step 4: Smoothen Out Rough Spots. Sand any rough edges or surfaces and make sure to smooth out the repair putty so that it blends with the rest of the sheath. Step 5: Apply Primer. Coat the entire sheath with a couple layers of plastic primer, allowing each coat to dry completely before applying the next one. Step 6: Paint the Blue Sections. We used an airbrush for this step, but any painting technique can be used - it's entirely up to personal preference. Step 7: Add Gold Details. Again, choose your favorite painting method, but we opted for a small sponge dipped in paint for a unique texture and ease of application on larger areas. Step 8: Apply a Protective Finish. To safeguard the paint from damage, apply a finishing coat that will protect it from wear and tear.
