Master Sword Pedestal of Time (for digital calipers)

My trusty digital calipers always found themselves too tall for my pen holder, prompting me to design a dedicated stand just for them. Drawing inspiration from the pedestal that cradles the legendary Master Sword in The Legend of Zelda series, I created this stand to provide a sturdy and elegant base for my tools. Crafted with precision, it fits snugly around the Harbor Freight "Pittsburgh" digital calipers, making it highly likely to accommodate most other digital calipers of similar dimensions. Using black PLA as the printing material, I then gave the stand a rugged stone finish by applying grey filler primer and dabbing it with flat black paint. To add an extra layer of realism, I meticulously carved cracks and notches into the surface using a sharp knife, while also darkening the iconic Triforce emblem with a fine Sharpie marker. However, if I were to recreate this project, I would definitely take the time to sand all surfaces with 120 grit sandpaper to smooth out any visible layer lines that bleed through the primer. Feel free to adapt and remix this design to suit your specific needs - whether it's for calipers, scissors, pens, markers, or anything else. Enjoy experimenting and making it your own! Update: On September 18th, 2017, I corrected the orientation of the STL file so that the bottom side faces downwards.
