I've found that mimicking video game arms is an awesome way to grasp 3D modeling techniques. Today, I realized that you can't apply an edge loop to something that's been divided, and that object symmetry and world symmetry are distinct concepts with unique advantages. Is there a way to combine X and Y symmetry for simultaneous use?
