Here is my coupler design for the Master Replicas Darth Maul lightsaber. I snapped the coupler after receiving both Darth Maul lightsabers in the mail, just 10 minutes later. It fits snugly and threads in smoothly as long as the internal threads inside the lightsaber are intact. I printed it vertically with a bit of finishing on the ends.
