Massive Overhang Test

Massive Overhang Test

thingiverse

This large test object helps optimize your 3D printer's performance with overhangs, featuring flat angles from 20° to 70° at 5° increments. Markings indicate the angles on top. Print in ABS or PLA, but PLA is suggested due to less warping. Updated versions include a 27mm and a 13.5mm height option. A user reported successful printing of the smaller version using an Ultimaker with Cura standard settings, though 65° and 70° overhangs had "rippled" edges. The small version was also featured in MakerBot's "Support Material" YouTube video, while the larger version appeared in Simplify3D's "Customizing Support Structures" video on YouTube.
