I was determined to create a unique accessory for the upcoming party, so I designed and printed a custom mask. To ensure its intricate details would turn out perfectly, I set my 3D printer to print at a layer height of just 0.3mm. For added stability, I chose to print two separate shells that would fit snugly together once assembled. With the aim of minimizing material usage while still achieving a strong and durable structure, I opted for an infill density of 10%. To speed up the printing process, I reduced the z-axis height to a mere 3.3mm. Once the print was complete, I submerged it in hot water to make the mask flexible enough to be molded into my face shape. Finally, I carefully placed a paper towel over the mask and pressed it firmly onto my skin, allowing it to take its precise form.
