Masonic Bank

thingiverse

This project utilizes the original Masonic Compass and Square model (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2960220) designed by Shepherd1, showcasing appreciation for the original design. A big thank you goes out to Shepard1! It differs significantly from other projects, as it replicates the original three times to create walls, then angles them into a pyramid shape, adds a base, hole, plug, and slot. To facilitate printing, supports are added that easily detach. Printing proceeds smoothly except for the first layer of the plug base, so another support is introduced. This model is printed at x1.1 scale, ensuring it fits on an Ender2 bed. It can hold $20 USD in dimes and quarters. The top slot only allows passage of dimes, while a plug with a slot allows coins to pass through from underneath. The accompanying images display the model with supports and skirt on contact points to secure everything during printing. Update: 1. A new file is added for a tea light plug compatible with Samyo Tea Light (30 mm diameter x 25 mm) offered by Amazon, transforming the model into a night lamp (see makes). The updated standard x1 size also includes an option for x0.9 file.
