Mason Jar Vespa velutina monitoring trap

This is a hornet trap based off a French design but built for a wide mouth mason jar. I don't know if the threads will match common jars found in other places. I designed it since the Asian Hornet, Vespa velutina, was discovered in my state, Georgia, US. Once a bait recipe and schedule are provided, I will post here. The bait changes depending on time of year. It includes smaller escape holes to avoid bycatch (unintentionally trapped insects). This trap is most suitable for monitoring. The larger traps found here on Thingiverse are suited to a known infestation. Let's hope we don't get to that point here in Georgia! I'm printing in PLA+ right now but PETG would be more durable for extended outdoor use. Also, this trap needs to be kept under cover for rain.
