Mason Jar Soap Pump / Lid
thingiverse
I repurposed old soap pump lids to create refillable glass soap containers. To do this, I added the pumps from discarded soap containers to mason jars, giving new life to a once-useful item. The disc serves as a seal for the jar and also functions as an adapter for the pumps, making it easy to use the containers over and over again. I printed this project with two layers on top and bottom, using 25% honeycomb infill specifically for the disc part. This design provides the perfect balance of strength and lightness. These adapters work seamlessly with pumps that have threads approximately 27.5mm in diameter and 4mm per revolution. It appears this thread size is quite common among these types of pumps, as I've seen it used by both Method and Aveeno brands.
