Inspired by parallelgoods' self-watering planter on Thingiverse, I reimagined the concept using a wide-mouth Mason jar. This design features a large diameter of 3.25 inches, making it incompatible with smaller mouth jars. Key characteristics include tiny holes that maintain root moisture and significantly reduce printing material requirements due to the utilization of a Mason jar or similar-sized cup. An arched section allows for effortless rewatering without disassembling the entire structure; a small hole enables water to drain into the Mason jar from this port, as shown in the device-only shot.
