Mason-Jar Salt Shaker
thingiverse
We actually required a salt shaker, and this item satisfies our needs perfectly. The lid snaps into place with ease, fitting snugly into position before swinging fully back out of the way. One detail is notably missing - a hole, which was an unintended omission but has grown on us in a peculiar way. Instructions This object was printed using PLA filament on a Printrbot LC 3D printer. While food safety might seem like a concern at first glance, it isn't necessary in this case because: The salt is not allowed to come into contact with the PLA materials at all There's no heat involved in the printing process either Furthermore, we've taken steps to remove humidity by placing rice in a coffee filter within the item itself.
