Mason Jar recharge station for Boveda 2 way humidity pack
thingiverse
I'm a huge fan of Boveda packs, but I get frustrated when they run out so fast. That's why I created this custom mason jar insert to recharge them - it's a total game-changer! To make it work, you'll need to reduce the lip on the insert so that your jar fits snugly on top. Then, drill some holes in there for humidity to seep through. When your packs start to dry out, just pour some distilled water into the jar (don't overdo it), and then drop those packs in for a few days. They'll be back to their old selves in no time! To make sure everything stays safe, use a food-grade material like PETG for printing - I wouldn't trust PLA with water for extended periods. Feel free to print this insert any way you like, but I'll be using it with the lip facing down and no supports. Stay tuned for some awesome pics!
