Mason Jar Lid for Sourdough Starter
thingiverse
English is down below!! The cover is designed for a standard jar type (like Bormioli) with an outer diameter opening of approximately ~112 mm (including threading). It's possible to adapt it to other diameters by scaling the model and maintaining proportions. For more information on printing settings, check "Print Setting". During this quarantine period, I decided to design a lid specifically for my sourdough starter jar, allowing it to breathe through the large opening at the center. To prevent mosquitoes or dust from entering, I added a small circular nook and a ring to fasten a piece of fabric. I used organza, but cotton will work fine as long as it's not too thick. The fabric can also be secured with an elastic band, making the ring optional (but very stylish!). If you find this design useful or like it, please leave a heart!
