Attached find an improved version of our original mason-jar filtration system, featuring a remixed mason jar lid that securely holds the in and out-flow tubes. To lock the 8 x 10mm plastic tubing onto the lid, use two anchor plugs. We've achieved remarkable results using a cotton/cotton-poly face flannel filter, so we've decided to include an optional way to disperse the out-flow around the same basket. If your tank doesn't have any pet invertebrates (shrimp, snails, etc.), note that filtering through natural copper scouring 'scrubbies not only destroys algae but also poses a threat to all invertebrates. So, if your aquatic life is copper tolerant, weave bare-copper wire creatively around the basket, leaving room for the outflow. Three-dimensional printers can vary, so use a hairdryer to lightly soften and secure tubing if needed. Epoxy might be necessary to nail things down. For longer prints that minimize wiggling, consider using https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3586532. Tighter fits ensure better flows. Cheers! Original: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3505119
