Video from the interior, demonstrating this fine handcrafted American implement of beverage management: https://youtu.be/vEQ8Dl3VC6A I live in the south. I drink sweet tea from a quart sized mason jar and I'm proud of it. I'm not ashamed to roll down my car window while wearing a red white & blue bandana; blasting Lee Greenwood and shouting "MURICA" from my moving vehicle. But the deep state has been encouraging car manufacturers to provide undersized car beverage holders, discriminating against proud southerners who want nothing more than life, liberty, and the opportunity to travel freely in this great country while drinking sweet tea from a large container which was originally designed for preserving bulk amounts of fruit from spoiling over time. (deep breath). The closed-minded thugs who designed my car beverage holder believe that 87mm wide is enough. I mean "who needs a 96mm wide cup? Do you really need rounded corners at 110mm? What sane citizen of this great land could possibly need an affixed glass handle carved out of the side of a giant mason-jar sized holder? My fellow Americans. I am that man. This great country was founded by bitter, disgruntled citizens and the inconveniences that "the man" was placing on their tea. Shouting "no taxation without representation," they staged rebellion against society for the prejudicial closed-mind limitations of government intervention. Now in the year 2023, the pains of our first world lifestyle still echo true to the statements made that unforgettable night of pouring tea into the harbor. Let our rebellion echo true to the sentiment of the rebellion at Griffin’s Wharf! We will not sit silently while they marginalize our need for large cup holders! We will print our own "ghost beverage holders!" This is fashioned after the same liberty sought when I built the other cup adapter (see my other projects), designed to fit a "standard" beverage holder tightly and adapt for room to fit a standard quart mason jar. (The next version will even have a handle cutout for those who need them). Check your local laws. This beverage holder may not be legal for use in some states. OK -- FUN STUFF ASIDE... The radio tray on the HMMWV had an annoying gap. I used this bracket to bridge the gap and provide a cup holder big enough to hold a full sized 32 oz mason jar. I printed this on a Bambu P1P with Hatchbox ABS around 270 with bed at 100. I did "adaptive cubic" infill at 35% and 3 layer outer walls. The STL currently looks like it has some mesh errors, but it printed flawlessly for me. I'll clean it up if I get time but I had no issues as-is. I have also included the original Blender source file if you want to make mods or make fun of the way I approached this build. :).
