Mason Jar Cap for Wide-Mouth Jars To seal off your sanitized liquid completely, you can use two #3 or #4 drilled stoppers to run your blowoff hose into one end and add an airlock to the other. This setup prevents debris and evaporation from entering your blowoff assembly, keeping it safe and secure. As a cat owner myself, I know how important it is to keep curious pets out of sensitive areas - this cap design keeps them from drinking or getting hair into the sanitizer. A quart-size blowoff container can be used for this purpose, but I prefer using a 2-quart ball jar instead.
