Maslow Z-axis Vacuum Base
thingiverse
I rebuilt my Maslow's Z-axis, and when I did, I lost the convenient vacuum attachment that came built into the Rigid router base. That's why I created a replacement. It attaches to a 1 1/2 inch vacuum nozzle and still gives me a clear view port to help zero in on the bit depth. You'll need to heat and bend a small piece of Plexiglas for the view port window. This setup will really help keep dust and chips under control. I designed it specifically for the Rigid 22002 router, which can handle bits up to 4 inches in diameter. All you need is a hose clamp to hold the nozzle in place. The plunge depth is limited to 1.5 inches, but that's in line with the rest of my Maslow.
