This part ensures that the rougher is perfectly aligned with the pre-made sled. I upgraded my z-axis to include a c-beam 250mm linear actuator and built the axis from scratch using this fixture to accurately drill holes into the sled. To start, insert a 1/4-inch bit into the rougher and position the fixture within the pre-made sled. Gently slide the bit into the center of the fixture, marking the precise locations for the c-beam bracket holes as you go. Finally, complete the process by drilling the necessary holes with precision.
