I completely reworked this from scratch, but drew inspiration from the original design. I positioned the hole at the bottom for maximum visual impact when the gear is aligned and adjusted its size to accommodate standard toothpicks. I also rebuilt the gear slot using a model from McMaster as my starting point and slightly increased its dimensions for a precise fit. Additionally, I added a tape measure slot offset so that the tape reads exactly in the middle of the gear when inserted, simplifying motor distance measurements.
