Masking Tool
thingiverse
I despise relying on toothpicks for masking because it's an absolute struggle to keep hold of them, and inevitably the tape rips in the corners. I stumbled upon a solution by chance when I began cutting apart rafts purely out of boredom; I then discovered that using some of these pieces could get me into tight spots that were previously inaccessible. It ended up working flawlessly! I eventually hit on the idea of attaching an X-acto blade handle to a makeshift blade with dulled corners and points, effectively bringing this tool to life. If you have any suggestions for alternative shapes that could serve as effective masking tools, feel free to share them in the comments below – I'll do my best to create one and post it here. "Happy" masking isn't something I've ever come across; perhaps there's someone out there who actually enjoys this process?
