A standard human face features symmetrical features on either side of a central axis that divides it vertically through its midsection. Two eyes sit above this midpoint and are surrounded by eyebrows above them. The nose and mouth follow immediately beneath, separated only by a thin lip area connecting them at the bottom of this dividing line where the facial expressions reside and communicate emotional changes occurring within us.
