When equipped with inlet valves, the mask allows inhalation through side filters only, while exhalation occurs solely through the central filter. This thoughtful design significantly prolongs the operating time of the filters and ensures the well-being of those around you when worn by an individual in need of medical attention. For crafting the inlet valves, we recommend utilizing rubber from household gloves, carefully shaping a circle with a diameter of 37 mm. Alternatively, you can repurpose materials like tight bags or stationery folders to achieve the same effect. Even paper can be used as a temporary solution for testing purposes. To secure the mask's components in place, simply use stationery or hair bands and wind them near the surface before tightening for a snug fit.
