I designed this strap with fast batch printing in mind at 0.8 mm height, requiring four layers of 0.2 mm each. Two versions are available, one with a fixed side that keeps the band firmly in place for easier adjustment, while the other allows for both sides to be adjusted. Each version can also be printed at 1 mm height instead of 0.8 mm if preferred, though this will result in longer prints. I recommend starting with the "Try this one first" single 0.8 mm height sample version, which has a non-adjustable side and an adjustable side for optimal results. A multi-piece STL file is available for batch printing, suitable for both 200x200 and 300x300 print surface areas, featuring the same design as the "Try this one first" version with bed clips avoided to ensure smooth printing. Test prints in PLA have shown durability at 0.8 mm height, but I haven't personally tried it, so feedback is welcome to make any necessary adjustments. Perfect leveling on glass at 50°C or using a rough surface for better adhesion is recommended if you can't avoid bed clips. Be cautious of the edges, as they may lift mid-print if your printer isn't set up correctly. I normally recommend using brim for added stability, but this would require significant post-processing. Printing faster than 60 mm/s is not advised, and a slower first layer is recommended for better adhesion. This design is intended for indoor use at room temperature, as thin PLA may soften in direct sunlight. I suggest printing thicker versions with materials like PETG or HTPRO PLA, which can withstand temperatures up to 100°C. However, these materials are more challenging to print due to warping issues.
