Mask of a mummy
sketchfab
This mask was originally attached to the headpiece of a mummy and consists of several overlaying papyri that tell an ancient story. Greek writing is visible on some surfaces, revealing a history that spans thousands of years. The mask likely dates back to the Ptolemaic Period or even the Roman Period (3rd century BCE to 1st century CE). This model was created using cutting-edge technology from Agisoft Photoscan's Structure from Motion technique. The images used were taken with permission from the Egyptology department at the University of Cologne.
