Mask L N95 with modular filters (Kids version)
thingiverse
Mask base adopted to easily print with a modular cartridge like filters using an advanced mount system. A scaled-down version of the adult model from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4273471 has been adapted, featuring a main body and back part that have been scaled down. The filter cap remains the same, but the back part of the filter cartridge has been modified to accommodate a smaller mount fixer. All other parts remain identical. This version measures approximately 100mm from top to bottom, with the upper point on the nose to the bottom point on the chin, compared to the adult model's 130mm. For additional information and instructions, refer to the adult version, which includes photos and screen orientations for optimal printing results (no supports required). Feel free to modify and add other filters as desired. For assembly, use 14 M3 x 8mm bolts to secure all parts in place. Elastic strips measuring 7-10 mm are also recommended. To relax your ears, consider using the Y splitter part, which is featured in the kid's version (photos included). The filter mount holder remains securely fastened with bolts, eliminating the need for glue. This design allows for optimal thread orientation while printing. Add a filter infill using any suitable material with a diameter of 55-50mm. For a video demonstration of the adult model (revision 1, which lacked the Y splitter and some improvements), visit https://youtu.be/f2Tw1rEh5gQ.
