The piece offers a thought-provoking reinterpretation of a head found on Easter Island for several compelling reasons: the back of the figure's head is skillfully carved out to eliminate any symbolic meaning, and the actual form of the head showcases a distinctly feminine appearance compared to other heads discovered on Easter Island.
