Mask Gator Replacement Upgrade Atom Blaster (Electric Ouch)

Mask Gator Replacement Upgrade Atom Blaster (Electric Ouch)

This replacement part is designed for the 1985 Kenner Gator, with its design approximated from freeze frame and optimized for FFM printing. It should work seamlessly on a resin printer as well, resulting in a unique print that differs significantly from the original Atom Blaster but captures its cartoon aesthetic more accurately. The part works beautifully with the toy, and I've included the Fusion 360 design file for users who want to create their own versions. To achieve the results shown in the image, I used a 0.2mm layer height and a 0.4mm nozzle. However, to get the best results, you'll need to add some filler primer, black acrylics, and spend time sanding the parts. The two parts are split into mirror images that need to be carefully glued together. I hope this design is useful for someone, and I wish you fun with your printing project!
