I'm Not Here to Make Friends. As I sit here, staring at this blank page, I'm reminded of the countless times I've been asked to "just be myself." But what does that even mean? Is it just a euphemism for "be boring and uninteresting"? I think about all the people who claim to love me for who I am. But do they really? Or are they just being polite because they feel sorry for me?
