I release for free a printable 3D file with any printer for a reusable protective face mask. The mask is composed of two pieces: the mask with the filter holder and the closure of the filter. The mask can accommodate homemade filters in TNT (non-woven fabric), filtering paper (baking paper) or any other suitable thin material. Compared to other printable protective masks: 1) The filter holder does not require a silicone gasket to be installed, but has a thread that holds the filter and makes the closure hermetic! 2) Printing time of about 2 hours! This type of face mask/protection is not designed to stop viruses or filter pathogens, but only to reduce the risk of transmission of infectious agents through droplets. This mask cannot be certified and should not replace commercially available certified protection masks, but should be used only in extreme cases where it is impossible to obtain more reliable protection systems! It is recommended to always print with certified materials for skin and mucous membrane contact. In particular, PLA, a biodegradable, non-toxic material that does not irritate the skin, is recommended. After printing, simply pass two threads through the lateral holes (choose the right pair according to face shape) to support the mask (behind the ears). The mask shape adapts easily to facial conformation. To meet different size needs, it will be enough to modify with a slicing software the scale (uniform) of the structure and the plug. The mask can be reused by sanitizing it and changing the filter after each use! > NEW VERSION v2.0: Improved tappo anchorage system to allow filters up to 1 mm thick! > NEW VERSION v2.5: Improved nasal support for better adhesion to the face.
