I release totally free a 3D printable file with any printer for a reusable face mask protection. The mask is made up of two parts: the mask with the filter holder and the filter closure. The mask can house homemade filters in TNT (non-woven fabric), oven-safe filter paper or any suitable thin material. Compared to other printable protective masks: 1) The filter holder does not require a silicone seal installation, but has a thread that holds the filter and makes the closure airtight! 2) Printing time is around 2 hours only! This type of face mask protection is not designed to stop viruses or filter pathogens but only to reduce the risk of transmission of infectious agents through droplets. This mask cannot be certified and should not replace commercial protective masks, but it can be used in extreme cases where no other reliable protection systems are available! NEW VERSION v2.0: Improved the cap attachment system to allow introduction of filters up to 1 mm thick! NEW VERSION v2.5: Improved nose support for better adhesion to the face. Improved elastic attachment holes. Improved grid on the cap. Possibility to print with layers 0.25mm thick in under 1 hour and 30 minutes! NEW VERSION v3.0: Added an internal grid to increase safety in case of unwanted filter movements. Removed unnecessary thread on the mask body for a cleaner design at equal printing time. Extended the lower part of the mask for better contact with the chin. Works with the same cap as V2.5.
