Mascarilla COVID-19
thingiverse
This model is currently undergoing approval by doctors in Chile. Use it at your own risk, and only as a last resort if you have no other approved protection. The recommended measures to protect yourself from COVID-19 infection are: • Stay home and avoid contact with others • Avoid touching your face with your hands • Wash your hands frequently This model is divided into two models. Model 1 The first is a mask that must be thermoplastic only with a hair dryer, then molded to the person's face, and also has two protective caps for inserting different types suggested below. Filter suggestions according to percentage and recommendations given by professionals in the field: • Yellow kitchen paper towels cut into four circles to be inserted two and two in each filter. • TNT bags cut into four circles to be inserted two and two in each filter. • Cotton round makeup pads (one per filter) (link indicating materials with percentage for use as a filter) https://smartairfilters.com/en/blog/best-materials-make-diy-face-mask-virus/?fbclid=IwAR0UXP_WNy_yNa9GCeKC2jf6iBGXDrWBAthMr5ISx2LjU_k-Yd5ZvF_gNgs Model 2. In the filter folder, two files with valves are added to direct air flow. The first filter can be printed in PLA or filaflex and the second in filaflex. This design is intended to save on fabric production by only needing to incorporate these into the valve that allows air entry, as well as helping to reduce suffocation caused by humidity accumulation. It's worth noting that this mask is still a prototype, despite being validated by medical professionals, biotechnologists and others. We hope that with the entire community's input, this can be an encouraging mask for further improvements. That's why we leave the editable Autodesk Inventor files at your disposal.
