Stay at home (even if your president says another thing) #StayAtHome Protective mask for COVID-19, with attached optional goggles. * Use a HEPA filter from an iRobot Roomba 800 series vacuum machine. * Prefilter: Standard from 3M disposable masks serie 4000. The filter box has threading to replace it with a different model if there's no stock. I'm thinking of painting the 3D printed parts with tape to make them more durable, and then covering them entirely with thin copper sheets. You have to change the prefilter after each use with gloves. It lasts longer thanks to the prefilter, but I don't know how many uses are safe. Don't get the filter wet, wash it, or disinfect it. Its effectiveness will be lost. I'm thinking of using elastic straps from a CPAP machine for sleep apnea to secure the mask.
