Alexander 'Boss' Gibson constructed a cotton textiles mill on the banks of the Nashwaak River in the historic Village of Marysville as early as 1884. By 1975, however, the mill had fallen dormant and remained neglected until 1984 when it was acquired by the New Brunswick Provincial Government. With thorough renovation complete, the facility now serves as a modern hub for several government departments.
