Post-Printing Joining the legs and torso is no more complicated than with previous models. After sanding, each part has been treated with Acetone vapour, followed by two coats of undercoat, acrylic paint, and finally three coats of semi-gloss sealer. My Creative Process To create this model without incurring any costs, I relied on freely available tools from trusted sources. My approach was refreshingly simple: using Daz 3D's built-in pose settings with incorporated models, I exported them as OBJ files without materials. Next, I located and sourced free royalty-free objects to draw in 123D or load into Meshmixer, scaling and positioning them on my female model. I then extruded the clothing into the body, combined and made solid, making a brief stop in Netfabb to make adjustments before returning to Meshmixer for meticulous detailing work over many days. Although some may view this as time-consuming, it remains largely similar to my first model from two years ago; however, I have refined my skills with each passing year. Notably, the heads exhibit some roughness around the hairline, but rest assured that they print perfectly once complete. A Hair-Related Challenge During testing, I found that hair proves to be a persistent issue unless it's significantly exaggerated. With ongoing improvements in technology and printing techniques, this hurdle continues to become less of an obstacle. The Custom Touches Both included heads – Mary-Lyn Jane herself and her half-venom counterpart – fit seamlessly onto the body. If you choose to use the Phincen pin, you'll need to drill a small hole into one of the heads or make it removable. For any further questions, feel free to message me!
