Marvin the Martian Ray Gun
myminifactory
THIS IS NOT A REAL FIREARM!\r\nI'm glad I could start with a disclaimer since 'Firearm' can cause quite the commotion these days! This gun was designed to replicate the classic Marvin the Martian Blaster from Looney Tunes, intended for use as a prop with a costume. If you assemble everything correctly, the trigger actually moves, and the dial on the back to control the blast size turns as well. Make sure you slot these parts into position while assembling the two body halves together, following the exploded view shown in the images.\r\nThe parts were split this way to fit on a UP! Plus 2 printer, minimizing support material requirements. Super glue is perfect for assembling everything together, some undercoat and sanding to clean things up, and a nice yellow spray paint to finish it off.\r\nRead all the details and see photos of the process of 3D printing on my blog https://edditiveblog.wordpress.com/2015/08/07/marvin-the-martian-ray-gun-complete/
